Do different colored squirrels ever mate?

Like an albino squirrel with a black squirrel or brown, grey etc?

or do they only stay with their own kinds? (albino/albino black/black etc)

  3. I am sure they do...just like different breeds of dogs mate, etc... It probably wouldnt MIX the color, the babies would come out either of the colors of the parent squirrels.

The common squirrel most folks see is the gray squirrel.  There are various color phases of this squirrel, everything from black to white.  Albino is rare in mammals.  Most the squirrels you see are the white color phase, not albinos.  Squirrels do not choose a mate based on color.  There is no such thing as "staying with their own kind", they are all the same species.
