Do different plants have similar percent composition of water, inorganic and organic constituents?

  1. Not really with water. Where the plant is from and the conditions it must tolerate determine its percentage composition of water. Succulents, for example, have a higher percentage of water than in dry species of grasses. I'm not sure about other inorganic and organic constituents, though.
