Do digital cameras use wide angle lenses? are there any that dont?

Most do. A wide angle lens is really anything more than the eye sees. The eye sees at about 50mm and many point-and-shoots can go as wide as 18mm (both 35mm equivalent).

I'm not sure of any that don't.

Some.  Most point and shoot cameras do not, though Nikon has made add-ons for their Coolpix series that allow wide angle shots.
