Do digital printed pictures last as long as standard pictures?

all depends on qualty of paper and inks

i have some photos that look just as good as the day printed

plus with digital you can always reprint from your files if picture fades

Digital photos printed on acid-free paper with pigment-based ink will probably outlast most color photographic prints. Ordinary paper will yellow, and normal, dye-based inks will fade.

You can buy paper that is supposed to give longer lasting prints, but it is more expensive.  Generally speaking though, they don't last anywhere near as long, if you just use ordinary photo papers and inks.

I have all my prints, printed at the same lab where I have negatives printed.  Same paper ... same processing.
