Do diuretics really help with PMS and puffyness?

My face is all puffy and gross and I think it has to be PMS. I've seen diuretics at the store with pads and tampons.

Also does it help you lose weight?

  1. Yes, sometimes diuretics like Diurex (an example of an over the counter  product for water retention related to periods) can be of help to the water retention that comes with PMS.

It can sometimes also help with the water weight that occurs.

I have taken diuretics before but not the over the counter ones, prescription ones, to treat a medical problem  and found that it was of some help.

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
