  1. yes they do and no you don't stick a tampon up there. Most people deal with it by getting their animals fixed. My first dog I had we didn't do that though... so, for her time in heat we'd make sure she'd stay away from our carpets.

  2. Its called going into heat

  3. Umm no animals don't have periods especially domesticated animals (pets) and by three *** did you been another word for butt because im pretty sure its doesn't come out of there just an FYI

  4. Are you kidding?! Of course not! Where did that come from?

  5. of course not! That is a really crazy idea.

  6. Yes , all female mammals have periods and no............ you dont stick tampons up there.........

  7. No they don't.  Humans (and, I think, apes) are the only animals that regularly shed their lining, most others reabsorb it (sort of as they shed it).  So, though other animals do 'bleed', not much is going to come out.  Other animals, as ppl have said above, don't have a regular cycle like humans and apes either.  Instead they have times when they are on heat or have something that triggers ovulation (e.g. alpacas ovulate by sexual stimulation).  Hence, their ovulation is not what we call a 'period' involving the shedding of blood and lining and it coming out in a regular cycle.

There are some animals that show certain aspects of a period though, e.g. they might bleed but not have a regular cycle, but no others have all the aspects of a 'period'.  Different things apply to different animals.  In any case you would never use a tampon! :)  It's a good question though, kind of something you assume you know then one day you realize it doesn't quite all add up.
