although they are not as noticeable as they are with people..  yes.

I have a hairless dog, and I can see a small spot on his belly where the umbilical cord was located.  It would be harder to see that on a dog that has hair.

yes they do but it looks more like a lump or a little white dot then a bellybutton, they get a lump because of its fat not because its a outtie

Sure they do ... all mammals do!

It's located about midway down a dog's belly ... you might not be able to see it, but if you run your finger down a dog's underside, you can feel a little bump ... that's his/her bellybutton.

I guess they kinda do. Where their umbilical cord was attached, like human babies, they would have a tiny scar, not  a big ol' hole like ours.

Yes they do.  All mammals do.  My dog Blue is a female pit bull. She is 7 mos old.  I new where her umbilical cord came off.  If made a little round flat circle on her stomach.  A few weeks later though it started sticking out.  Come to fine out she has an umbilical hernia that has now closed up but she has an outie belly button.  It is funny looking because it is as large as the end of my thumb.  If you are concerned with the belly button (because I don't no your details) just make sure to push it in every day to keep the intestine from getting trapped in it.  Because when the tissue finally closes you don't want the intestine to get trapped in it.  It will basically choke the intestine and your dog will die.  My Blue is having surgery next month to correct her hernia.

Yes. All mammals are born with umbilical cords.  Belly buttons are scars from umbilical cords. Dogs are mammals, so dogs have belly buttons.
