Do dogs need a passport to get on a plane.??

Question

i am leaving soon and i would lik to noe if u could go on the airplane and are gods allowed to come? do they have to have like papers or something? cuz i already paid for the tickets and i would like to now if i could just take a dog through and have it go on the plane with me??

You MUST have an airline authorized animal carrier... and you will need the papers to show that the dog was seen by a vet in the past 30 days and is up on it's shots.  You will have to contact the airline and see how they want to handle the dog... they all have their own rules for how you can turn the dog over to them and under what circumstances and you can't get that from Answers... JUST THE AIRLINE.
