Do dogs sweat and how i have heard two different things below are they true or not?

1. i have heard the panting is their way of sweating

2. then second i heard yesterday and today is they sweat though their paws?

which is true or all they both myths

  2. Dogs do sweat, but not like us, number one is right.

  3. They do not SWEAT through their tongue.

    They pant to release heat. It's kind of like

    sweating but not. They do sweat through

    their paws. That's why you might see them

    lieing on their sides. I know cats also have

    sweat glands around their eyes and mouth.

    So dogs might, too. My reference/source can

    tell you a little bit more.

  5. Both are true, but dogs do seem like they are sweating if they are in hot & humid weather, the humidity makes their fur look greasy.
