Do dollar tree pregnancy tests really work?

We are at 13 dpo today. I can not help but crying and thinking that things did not work because the dollar tree test is a BFN. Help? Thanks

They are made the same way that any other pregnancy test is. But personally I like the ones that actually tell you pregnant or not. Yes there a little more expensive but I think it's worth it.

Look at the box. Is it a name brand? Where was it manufactured? China has a poor record for chemicals in products that shouldn't be there over the past year. I don't know the relative quality from any other countries.

If it is a known brand made in the U.S. or some European countries, it should be all right. Otherwise, I personally wouldn't trust it.

Yes they work.  I feel they work better actually.  I took one 5 days after AF was due and it was positive.  With both of my other pregnancy's I took expensive tests that would not show positive for 2 weeks after my period was due.

I took two and the lines were much darker than the name brand one I used later to confirm.  I was 7 weeks pregnant and the name brand plus sign was still so light I wouldn't have been sure.
