  1. I agree with williamv.  If you are drilling a hole in thin material the drill bit can vibrate and produce almost a triangular hole.  That is one reason for using hole saws and similar to get a clean round hole

  2. i have seen them drill square holes it had 4 chisel like blades around the drill bit so i would think so

  3. dont listen to them, its triangular.  fools

  4. Actually!!!!

Given the speed of the drill and the size of the tool being used, a somewhat triangular hole will be produced.

    Believe it or not!!!!

So give me all the thumbs down you wish, but it happens!

Just 4!!! is that the best you rookies can do???

    Thank You Dave!!!!

Seems you`ve also been around the block!!!

  5. yaaa.... a triangular hole from a drill is..... impossible.

  6. yah... sorry to say I have yet to see a drill that can drill a triangular hole.

  7. Circular

  8. A drill can only drill circular by nature of the drill.

If you need a triangular hole then you would need to use a router with a bit for making triangles.

  9. I would go with Circular.

  10. CIRCULAR.

  11. belmikeb is talking about a mortise tenon bit. The drill bit is enclosed by a square chuck to make the hole square. But I have never seen a triangular bit.

  12. Just think about it!!!!!!

  13. circular ones definitely
