Do driving instructors teach you how to drive the highway/freeway in the 6 hours?

Is it only basic stuff or do they teach you how to drive freeway/highway or do you have to ask them?

I am a permanent UK resident, I can say that in the United Kingdom, a sceme is being operated known as the Pass Plus where you spend 2 hours on the Motorway, 2 hours at night, and 2 hours in poor weather conditions with your instructor. This can only happen after you have passed both tests, and this plus part is extremely optional, no obligation.

It depends on your ability. I never took a student on the freeway  if didnt feel they  were ready. Every one learns at differant levels..

Mine did, but only about an hour of the 6.
