I want to go outside and tan, but I always get swamped by bees!! I've heard dryer sheets help keep them away, is this true? What else works? Thanks for the answers! =)

  1. Dryer sheets are full of perfume that will attract bees. Try setting bee traps as far away as possible from where you are tanning.

  2. Some people say yes

If we didn't have bees we wouldn't have flowers. May bee you sunbathe in a flowery place  - do you have daisies on your lawn? I'm not really sure about the dryer sheets but usually if you ignore our little pollinating friends they buzz off.

It could be the scent of your tanning lotion (high factor I hope - you don't want to look like you need a good coat of beeswax in a few years)  or because there are sugary drinks about. Also don't wear yellow - bees love it. Or perhaps it's because you're a sweety! (That's my excuse.)

Bee good to bees many of them are endangered.

  3. dryer sheet?! HAHA never heard that one before I would think not because they smell good but go for it and let us know if it worked! :)

  4. how about spraying OFF on you before you go lay out in the sun and maybe get you some tanning lotion that does not have a sent to it have never heard the dryer sheet thing though happy tanning
