I was sitting in my and we have a pond in our backyard, and this duck had babies about a month ago. And the father duck started pecking at one of his babies and the other two ducks were trying to get it off the baby. Then the baby swims away from all the other babie ducks and just stays there by itself, i tried giving just that one duck food but he wouldnt eat either. Did the parents shun that baby duck??

PLEASE HELLP ME!

  1. No, the male duck is probably jus showing dominence.

If the male duck continues to do this, making it impossible for the duckling to get back to momma duck.
