Question:

Do eco dryer balls actually work?

I'm thinking about buying a couple of these for my dad who's still adamant about using a tumble dryer. They're meant to reduce drying times and make clothes softer.... does anyone know whether they really work? Thanks

  1. I have them and I think they work great!

  2. yes but tennis balls work in exactly the same way and theyre loads cheaper!!! ps im not joking they do actually work!

  3. Never tried them myself. Not much for gimmicky little fixes that let you use like 0.001% less energy.

It's much better if you just try to avoid using the dryer period. I do that whenever possible, as long as it's sunny and even somewhat warm.

It doesn't use any energy, and the clothes smell so much fresher when you hang them outside.

Dryers also emit a very high level of ions, which can make you sick or depressed.

  4. I have just brought some, not really convinced they would work (but they were really cheap) and I have to say YES, they are brilliant. They certainly do cut down drying time, your clothes come out really soft, no static build up and the clothes do not seem so creased.
