  1. Yes they work, but only temporarily.

  2. no

  3. Do they give you wings, no. But generall yes, you should feel a burst of energy followed by an extreme low/tiredness.

  4. yes but you crash soon after

  5. Yea they sure work for me. I like the energy drinks with more natural healthy ingredients. I found a healthy one here http://www.voernix.com/2008/07/frs.html and they give you a free trial. Works great for me.

  6. YES! but I would recommend coffee with a little cream... shake it up with some ice and take with you in a water bottle or thermos...

it's better for your health and the crash is not so debilitating...

  7. Yes, you will feel with a lot of energy

  8. Just about as good as snake oil !!!!

  9. Sure they do. But for people that use it all of the time one won't do it. Just like folks who drink coffee all of the time. Their body gets use to it so it takes more. Same thing when people drink alcohol. At first they can drink one and later they can have several without any ill effects.

If used as intened, only as a boost when needed then nobody would have this problem. But people don't seem to grap the idea of moderation or using stuff as intended. Red Bull recommends only 1 to 2 a day. The 2nd largest energy drink, which is also the 1st and largest healthy energy drink, XS Energy, also recommends having 1 a day and no more than 2.

If you drink plenty of water it will provide a boost of energy and increase your motabolism by 3%. I drink 2 glasses first thing when I get up. We need 1 ounce for every 2 pounds of body weight plus 8 more ounces for every 20 minutes of exercise. With hot/dry days and climates even more is needed. When we are dehydrated we become tired. Caffeine and alcohol both dehydrate so you can't count those towards water intake.

Also proper nutrition will also increase energy levels. You need a good quality supplement though. Most of the stuff in the stores simply is not worth the money. The RDA/RDI was set up as minimum amounts to prevent nutritional deficiency diseases. For optimal health including energy and alertness we need more.

There is the caffeine trap too. Many peopl get too much and not enough water. So they get dehydated and become tired. When they are tired they think the answer is more caffeine. What they really need is more water and it actually will wake them up too.

  10. Yes. They also make you crash really bad after they wear off a few hours later

  11. Well to me some of them work, but that is just me. Energy drinks like Monster and Rockstar really work for me.

  12. No, & they really are bad for you! I don't advice drinking them. I know this guy who's only like 14 & he drank a lot at 1 time & his heart almost exploded. Stick to healthy foods.

Plus usually after you drink them, you'll get a short buzz, then feel drained.

  13. Depends on your body. I swear by em'. I have a few Red Bull or Monsters every day to keep awake. They give you a good boost that sometimes comes with the jitters.

I have two or three friends that swear they get no effect from the drinks. I think they're full of it, lol.

I would say the drinks are better than the pills. You gotta be careful with them.

  14. In the morning I cannot help but be tired, so in order to speed up the process of being awake, I drink an energy drink. Within a couple of minutes of talking and drinking, I feel completely clear headed. So basicly it helps me wake up early in the morning so i dont stick out like a sore thumb because I cannot stay awake.

  15. Yes for a very short time but most of them are full of sugar and chemicals.

    Hope this helps
