  1. Yeah they do. It says on the bottle I have with me at the minute that energy drinks shouldnt be used to replace water loss because they aid water loss.


  2. Many energy drinks consist of substances like caffeine et.al. Many substances that give that energy boost are also diuretics. Alcohol for example is another diuretic. For those that are old enough to partake in the drink know, drinking alcohol means frequent trips to the bathroom. Diuretic means:tending to increase the excretion of urine.

    When we urinate we get rid of toxins in our body as well as water; which could cause us to dehydrate if we're going to the bathroom often enough. So yes, It can make your mouth feel dry.
