Do environmentalists frown upon drag racing?

Question

It seems to me that drag racing is probably not an environmentally friendly thing to do seeing as high powered race cars use a lot of fuel. But I believe that it probably has a much smaller impact than people who drive large SUV's on a daily basis and wastefully use energy resources in their homes. Which do you think an environmentalist would frown upon more?

Environmentalists would probably consider this a trivial waste of fossil fuel.

Fore My knowledge no but i could be wrong. the reason y think this because there are allot fewer drag racer to tune up than the regular cars on the road.
