Do every deck have to have an monster with 4000 + atk ?

point cause i have cards like that but should i put it in my deck or should i put an monster with 2900 + an add equiped cards to it

well first off they dont make many monsters with that high of attack.

theres only 6 monsters with 4000 base attack.

4 being gods/egyptian beast the other two are the rainbow dragon/rainbow dark dragon.

now theres fusions that have higher attack then that but im assumeing your only talking non fusion monsters.

anyways the only 4000 base attack monster i even concider using is rainbow dark dragon.

but also theres monsters that have the ? symbol wich can easily triple or quadruple 4000 attack with no problem.

not really ppl now a days use the effects of monsters to win not atk like dad deck use dad and lighsworn use judgement dragon

No, a deck can have whatever monsters you want depending on your strategy or combos. 4000+ attack monsters usually have a high cost to summon and usually can be destroyed be effects. It would be easier to equip spells to eaisier to summon mosters, like 1900+ attack, 4-star monsters, or even, like you said a 2900+ attack monster.(though these can be a little costly to summon to)

Only Beatdown decks require strong , high ATK monsters.

Most decks like Gladiator Beasts, Lightsworns, Six Samurai do not rely on their statistics, but on their effects. Let's say you have a Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon 4500 ATK and I have an Old Vindictive Magician with 450 ATK. I flip it up and your Dragon is destroyed. Effect over Statistics any day. I recommend you go on to yugioh wikia and get a bit updated on this game.
