I thought it was only males. And can male birds have problems with egg binding or is that only in females?

  1. Yes, females m********e, sometimes more than the males, depending on the breed. Masturbating is very noticable in smaller breeds of birds, like cockatiels, budgies, and especially love birds.   NOOO, males do not lay eggs, therefore do not suffer from egg binding.  Egg binding is when the female can't pass the egg.  It can be a life threatening problem.

  2. no bird does.

    what is wrong with you.

  3. your a sick person you should pray to my lord jesus christ for forgiveness

  4. You are not a sick person...some female birds do this a lot and when you own one that does and it is very obvious than it is what is ....you can't ask the bird to please stop doing this...you know. No males can't get egg bound because they do not have the ability to even produce an egg. I have a lot of birds now because I am a small breeder, but years ago I only had one female pet cockatiel and she did embarrass me because she masterbated in front of anyone who visited my place and sometimes people would laugh and ask what she was doing so I just looked at them like well you know I guess cockatiels are kind of like s*x fiends or something. And for the people telling you to pray and ask God for forgivness..well they are insane because God created these birds and obviously gave them a very strong desire to procreate...HELLO!!! just ignore them and give them the big thumbs down!!!!!
