The only snake I have is a female Albino Motley Pattern Corn Snake, and when I went in my room I noticed an orange thing in the corner of her cage that looked kind of like a slightly moldy mandarin orange slice. Is she sick? Please help!

  1. no she's not sick

  2. Yes they can. Sexually mature females can lay eggs without being breed. Small orange ones are infertile and should be discarded. You need to give her somewhere to lay and check if she has any more inside by letting her slide over your fingers and feeling for any lumps. Check out the corn snake forum for lots of good advice.
