Do female longhornd have horns???

yup.... longhorns are born equiped with every thing it takes to be longhorns... including horns.

...the calves have undeveloped horns, is all.... that dont last long tho.

Remember the difference between horns and antlers?  Animals with antlers (made of bone, external blood source, shed annually) characteristically only grow on the males, the only exception I know being the caribou, where both sexes have antlers.  On the other hand, animals with horns (made of keratin, internal blood source, not shed) are characterized by both sexes having horns, although the female's may be smaller than the male's.
