Do female monkeys menstruate and have periods??

They say that monkeys are so close to us. Well do the girl monkeys have periods? I'm serious, do they?

    And yes, almost all mammals have their period like humans.  Its different though, because when they have their period, they are "in heat" and that is the time in which they can get pregnant, not before a period like with humans
