  1. G'day Barney B,

    Thanks for your question.

I am not aware of any connection between rugby and breast problems.

Indeed, a study in the Journal of the American Medical Association, found that regular exercise can cut the risk of breast cancer recurrence up to 50 per cent.

"Women with breast cancer who . . . exercise at moderate intensity for 30 or more minutes per day for five or more days per week survive longer," said Dr. Michelle Holmes, a cancer researcher at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

They may as well exercise doing rugby.

    Regards

  2. I don't really know but i am willing to rub them better for them.

  3. I'm 32 and still playing rugby. No breast problems that I am aware of. If you are thinking that the contact in rugby may hurt them in some way, I'll tell you that my shoulders and my hips take more of a beating than any other part of my body. Most women ruggers I know (and men for that matter) develop knee and shoulder injuries a lot quicker than any damage to their b*****s.  I would say 99% of women athletes wear sports bras, and on top of that, a lot of ruggers also wear under armor to protect their shoulders, which also adds another layer across their chest to provide support.

The one sport that does cause some hurtin on the chest is actually women's water polo. I'm not sure it does anything more than cause extensive bruising, but that's one sport where the b*****s are exposed to grabbing, and kicking, much more so than rugby.
