OK so there are no more question in her so I thought I would ad some levity!

The whole shoe fetish thing might be a plus if fems are devoid of shoe lust.

  1. Since when is assuming that feminists are not "happy, well-adjusted women" going to put everyone in a lighter mood? Nice try, pal.

Anyway, I think women who don't care about feminism or any other kind of political issue are more likely to care about material objects. I like shoes, but I'd rather buy books.

  2. Feminists are happy well adjusted women.  They may or may not like shoes.  Women have a greater variety of colors that they wear and have to match with shoes, and then there are the different heel heights.  This make women have to have a large number of shoes, even if the don't have "shoe lust."

  3. The answer is that it's none of your frikken' business whether we buy a lot of shoes or not, since we pay for them.

Said with all levity, of course.

  4. Being a feminist has nothing to do with footwear.

Feminists are happy and unhappy; well-adjusted and maladjusted; women and men.

  5. I feel that the fact that I wear the same beat up, comfortable running shoes almost every day contributes to my happiness and well-adjustedness.

  6. feminist are happy, well adjusted women, so of course the answer is YES!

  7. I think buying lots of shoes is a part of being femme, but it doesn't really have anything to do with feminism.

  8. Well, if this is going to help; I'm not a feminist; haven't bought a pair of shoes in four years; one pair is good enough for me; casual is what I go for; versatile; the kind that looks good with both skirts and pants..edit: I can't believe this talking about shoes - might as well run bare foot in the grass; feels so much better than wearing shoes and the psychological benefits; read some place where NY cabbies are advised to do so.

  9. I'm a feminist, and I have more vegan footwear than Hollywood has anorexics...what would be bad about feminists anyway?  Many of us are "sexually liberated!"

  10. I'm a feminist and I buy so many shoes that I don't have enough room for them in my wardrobe.

Mind you, I'm also reasonably happy and well-adjusted...

  11. Yup.  AND, we pay for them ourselves as oppose to having to beg our meal-ticket for the money to buy them.  lol.
