Why would we feel jealous?  After all, women's lack of contributions is not due to lack of ability, talent, or intelligence on the part of women, but rather due to oppression and denial of equal rights/opportunity by men.  

Had women not faced such discrimination, sexism, oppression, and denial of rights/opportunities throughout such a significant chunk of history, we would have made just as many contributions as men.  A runner who is losing a race need not feel jealousy towards the person who is winning, if the person who is winning had to cripple the person who is losing in order to win.

I have just had a change of mind; for very good reason. There is something that I would like you to think very carefully about.  That thing is a contribution need not be in proof of a building, or a highway. It can be in other ways, too.  Such, as my contributing my reply to your post, that is indeed a contribution.  Another contribution is like this.  May your days always be bright as the sun shines upon you.  This is my contribution of good cheer.  There comes a time when a contribution of intended and well meant cheer is far greater than any man made contribution.
