Do ferris wheels scare you?

yesterday i went on a ferris wheel and i was freaking out becaise u still still for so long in one spot and it is high like when it is moving no stop im fine butwhen it is stopped and u are high it is scary

Actually, I like Ferris wheels, i don't care for roller-coasters; even though i haven't been on either for years..... there is certainly some danger involved, there are fatal accidents every year lately.

I personally don't mind them,but my brother HATES them.Then again,he's pretty scared of heights.I have to admit though,it is a little creepy being up that high in a precariously hung box that's swinging back and forth. ^^;

But,people are different,that's all. :)

yes!  I know exactly what you are saying... a ferris wheel is a different feeling from a roller coaster.  On a coaster, you are constantly moving.  And when the ferris wheel is turning, I'm ok, even up high.  But when it stops, and I'm on the top, or even half way up the side, and the seat starts to sway a little back and forth, it gets to me!

the only one i dont like is the one in California adventure. we were thrown into one of the ones that rocks back and forth when you stop. I felt sick :P

Nope, heights don't scare me at all as long as I'm safe.  I actually enjoy the view and love being up high.  I love roller coasters, too.  Guess I like the adrenalin.

Im not scared to go on ferris wheels but I dont like to go on them.  I love roller coasters so im not affraid of the heights. Im not sure what it is that makes me not like them.
