like, are there sensors in your fingernails like there are on the rest of your body? i thought so, b/c i have long fingernails and i tapped on the desk and felt it, but dad says they're like hair, and when you cut it, you don't feel it. he says that what i'm feeling is the pressure of my fingernails on my skin when i tap them on the desk. what do you say?

  1. No, because fingernails have no nerves or blood vessels.
