  1. wow, i've never though of that before.

    but i think they drink water when they open their mouths and stuff.


  2. i don't think so, because the fish swallows water when eating but then it goes back out through there gills. By the way the water level only goes down because of evaporation.

    I got a tank with 38 fish and the water level in the last two weeks has dropped....

    they must be drinking it  :~)

    The water they need is taken into their body by osmoses.

    They take in oxygen by filtering water through their gills.

  5. they must not drink water because how could saltwater fish survive? theyd just get thirstier

  6. no fish do not get thirsty....the water their body needs is taken when it swallows water to absorb oxygen from it..after tht excess water is sent out through their mouth...thts y their r usually bubbles near a fishes mouth
