Do fish have to be in a certain tempature?

i need to know cuz i got a fish from my friend it is a gupie or gupii fish i dnt know how to spell it but plz help me plz one of mine r pregnat

  1. yes they do. its cant bee to hot or too cold. im not sure what temp exactly. just dont put them near a window or let them get too cold. i had a bunch offish in my bay window and they all boiled to death... :(


  2. yes they have to be in waters of 72-80 degrees, they can stand colder water but it might not be good for the pregnant one

  3. Yes most fish have to be in water with a certain temperature.  Any tropical fish (guppy included) usually range in temperatures between 72-80 degrees depending on the species.

    If you guppy (s) are in a smaller tank/bowl, they make very small heaters that you can use.  You will also need a small thermometer to read the temperature in your tank.

    Try your local pet-shop they can help you with this.

  4. i breed guppies and they have the temps have to be between about 75-80

  5. Yes guppies are tropical fish so the temperature should be at roughly 73-78 degrees. Good luck.
