Yeah when your playing into the sun they help alot. But against I'd perfer not to wear one because it almost makes your partly blind if your a reciever. And for safety wise, its controverisal. They sometimes help more then the bars.

In what way?  Do they keep dirt and fingers out of your eyes, yes.

Do they help with the sun?  No because tinted visors are illegal in HS and college.  The pros can wear them with a documented medical reason.

they do help for protecting your eyes and make face masks harder for defenders to pull on you but if you can take a face mask it helps your team out

In my opnion, no, and it can mess up ur vision if you don't clean it.  Unless you have an eye probelm or something and are afraid of getting ur eye poked, then you should probably wear one.

yes it does, cause when ur playing in the sun it protects ur eyes, so u could see and catch better. and u don't get poked in the eye so its good. u have to clean it.
