Not much. Foxes are actually clean and bathe themselves a lot, like cats.

If you have ever smelled a ferret it is a good example of what a fox smells like. They REAK!!! You dont normally see foxes when you are out walking but you can certainly smell  where they have been... It is a very stong, musky odour.
