  1. Depends what kind of frog. There is a frog called a Pixie Frog that bites. There might be more, but I don't know all of them.

Please go to my website and tell me your hamster's name for I can improve my Hamster Names page. Thanks for all your contribution! http://www.freewebs.com/louiethehamster/...

  2. They might, if they're provoked or if they think you're food. I wouldn't be too worried, though, because they're not very big and they don't have any teeth, just soft lips. Of course, you always have to be careful around any highly poisonous species, regardless of how big it is or whether it bites.

  3. I've never heard of it.  I worked around some frogs and toads and they never bit me.  But if they're scared of you they might pee on you.  Not kidding!

  4. Yes! I have a Pixie Frog and he will sometimes lunge for my fingers. I'm not sure if its intentional or he thinks my fingers are worms but he has bitten me before. But then again, Pixie frogs are the second largest species in the world, he probably thinks everything is food. =S

  5. Nope, then only bite and eat plants.

  6. Yep. I don't think they do it to be mean, they just see movement and assume it is food.

I've been lunged at by frogs when I reach into their tanks to feed them at work. It doesn't hurt though...=)
