  1. This question is something I don't even think geneticists understand yet.....i know my psych textbook had something about it, but h**l if I can remember.....ps it's "born" not "borned".....do you think your grammar skills are genetic?

  2. i dont think that genetics play a rolee,,

i think its more of the way you were raised,,

and the environment you grew up in,,

they may play a part in your sense of humor,,

    or your sensitivty,,

but i dont think it has anything to do with genuisness.

that depends souly on you as an idividual.

  3. Genetics affect how the brain develops, the brain controls how people think, feel, and act. Its part of the reason why people who are related often have similar temperments.

  4. Yes, along with bad choices we make along the way.

  5. I was not born strict, disciplined and calm.

My mother brought me up that way.

But it wasn't easy, since I had to learn them the hard way!

    Ouch!

    lol

So I'd say that personality develops as we grow...personality and character depends on the environment.

Genetics decide our skin tone, hair/eye color, height and width.

About intelligence, I can say that there are kids who are really smart and intelligent...so it might be genetic.

  6. I don't think genetics can determine your personality. I think at best it could only influence it but not shape it significantly.

  7. It doesn't 100 percent. There have been studies done that show a correlation between hereditary and intelligence.

The people who are born genius's are lucky I guess. It's not really something to focus on, you're comparing yourself to other people.

When you say "who we become,' that ultimately means our personalities, goals, desires and talents. These things, clearly, are not influenced from genes, but more environmental and experiential factors.

  8. I don't think genetics has anything to do with who we are. At least not directly.

  9. no, they don't. personalities are developed when people are young depending on how they are treated. brain problems such as being geniuses are abnormalities.

  10. i dont think they do, they dont effect ur personality. being a genuis doesnt mean u know everything from birth, u jst take in things way more easier thn other ppl, and still whats knowledge without wisdom and tht takes time and experience, and geniuses do strive in tht category also.
