Question:

Do ghosts emit measurable electrical energy?

Is this why ghost hunters (note, *not* investigators of the paranormal) use EMF meters?

If so, says who? On what data is the assumption based?

  1. There is no real data. Ghost hunters are pseudoscientists.

The reason these pseudoscientists use these meters is because they believe that there must be some type of paranormal activity when there's unusually high amounts of measurable energy in an area. This completely ignores the fact that common household wiring and electronics all emit this, meaning that there's so much "background noise" in various parts of the area that even IF ghosts existed and left behind energy, it would be undetectable.

  2. Some do, ghosts and  spirits are not the only thing to give off elevated levels of EMF. I have tested animals and people that I have worked Reiki on and they too demonstrate the raised levels of EMF activity as well as the surrounding area.

It works much like Kirlian Photography. A manifestation as with everything else requires and utilizes energy, thus measurable.

  3. yes, they do. That is why Ghost Hunters use the EMF meters. They said that ghosts can usually interfere with EMF.

  4. The device simply measures electric energy in the air, so if there is electrical energy in the air, the question is how and where has it come from?

The assumption is probably based on the fact there was paranormal activity reported in the area and that is why is has been tested

  5. The only thing that ghosts emit is superstition . Superstition can't be measured with meters , but can be detected by the stupid look of the superstitious person .
