yes if you want proof watch ghosthunters they have caught several things however understand that the doubters will look at that and say its faked and are too busy watching 8 hours of tv and guzzling beer to go out and look for proof themselves so their disbelief is safe depends on who you are willing to trust if you want the proof

This is a tough question because we as researchers are constantly gathering evidence in order to prove it. One thing, in this field there are so many variables of the unknown and nothing is etched in stone. Allot of the theories on ghosts is speculation, It's difficult because ghosts don't act on queue. They never act the same. In our field we are constantly gathering and comparing evidence. For the most part, 90% of the time we can find natural causes for a haunting rather than supernatural but,yes I believe they do exist from things I've wittnessed over the years. The best thing I can say is that it is up to the people who claim that they don't exist to prove it. Thanks for the question. There is allot more to it than I have room to type in here.

I don't know if ghost is an accurate description.  More like energy without a home anymore ;)  I do believe in ghosts and the like but proving the existence is difficult.  I've seen things I can't quite expalin but to say defintiively they were ghosts is ignorant.  Scientists want hard proof but how do you prove the afterlife when you're alive?  The closest scientific explanation I can give is the rule that energy cannot be destroyed or consumed it merely changes.  If you look at a persons body they do have their own unique energy signature that dissipates upon death.  According to science this cannot just disappear it has to go somewhere.  There may be a world parallel to ours but we can't lift that veil unless we die or are near death.  In any case until there is a means to test for displaced energy we may never know until we die.
