Do girl dogs still go into heat and have periods after being sprayed?

I was just wondering if they still do, because we're going to see some puppies today and I need to know this to make up my mind.

  1. no, they shouldn't. They have had everything taken away. But boy dogs will still run after any girl dogs in heat and scent mark, if that's what you are wondering . good luck with the puppies!

  8. I think you mean spayed.  No, they no longer have heat cycles after they are spayed.  Dogs' cycles aren't the same as people's.

    You dont call them periods, your dog gets heat lol so it is called in animal terms.

    I doubt that the dog would because that part of the body is removed, isnt it?
