  1. I believe so.  Boys are wimps when they don't feel good.  My husband can be such a baby.  When I am sick he tells me to stop complaining and when he is sick it is the end of the world.  I had 36 hours of labor with my son and right after he had appendicitis and he told me to shut up because I didn't know the pain.  I think we are built stronger to prepare us for the fun of menstruation and childbirth.

  2. absolutely, periods and giving birth are two of the most painful things a woman will have to go through. A man could never make it through either.

  3. This is the same as asking are apples better than oranges.  It would be pure speculation to say that one gender has a higher pain threshold than another.  People are all individuals and as such they have different tolerances for things, including pain.  We do know that women have a larger number of nerve endings than men do.  It is unfair to say that men could never go through childbirth as males have never had to do such a thing.  We cannot say that they could not do it if it has never been possible for them to even try.  I'm not saying here that men have a higher pain threshold but at the same time I am not saying that women do.  I cannot say for sure which has a higher threshold.  I am only saying that it is something that must be thought over before a true answer can be given.
