Do girls have to cut their hair for navy cadet school?

My daughter is 15 and thinks she is going to have to cut her hair short if she goes in to the navy cadet school in Tyler TX. Is this true or can she put it in a nice tight bun. Thanks. =)

No. A bun is fine. She has to keep it above the shoulders and tucked inside her headgear. Long story short, she's fine. They will tell her what to do when she arrives.
