Girls like guys whether you play golf or not;playing golf shows something very good, you don't have to a jock. It's definitely the thinking man's game.

I am a guy and know lots of girls that golf. I think it is really cool to see girls golfing, especially when they are good. A side benefit of playing golf is that you get a natural tan ;) And don't feel weird playing on a team even if you are the only girl if you really enjoy golfing.

I don't know if this particularly answers your question, but golf is one of the very FEW activities/sports that men and women can share or participate in together.  Men can't box women; play football against them; play basketball, etc.  It's really a great activity to plan travel around together because most courses are at beautiful locations.  Also, it's nice to share an activity, spending time together.  I've enjoyed playing golf with the women I've known through the years that play the sport.  Besides, like someone above said, usually there aren't IDIOTS playing, who can't afford to take them out.  Golf might be a good screening process for you single ladies.....both financially and as to how a man handles himself on the course.  You could learn a LOT about a person after 4 hours on the golf course as to their temperment, ethics, etc.......LOL

This is a strange question.  If the girl plays golf, then she probably likes it that you have a common interest. Otherwise, she probably doesn't care.

You don't join the golf team to pick up girls.
