Do girls really like guys that are jerks to them?

I want to know if girls really like guys who are jerks. I am really nice to girls and everyone for that matter, but they never seem to want to go out with me. They would rather have me as a friend than as a boyfriend. Theres this one girl who's my friend and she has a boy friend who is always like calling her "w***e" "s***k" and "s**t" all the time. He always hangs out with his friends other than her but they have been together for about 5 months now. I wish she would realize that I would give her my full attention be there for her and stuff but Idk if she wants to be my gf. But anyway, do girls like it when guys are jerks to them?

I know I don't she will get tired of him being such a jerk. I like guys I can talk to and that are nice. Since she is ur friend just tell her that if she ever wants to talk about anything she can come to you. she will really appreciate it and when she breaks up with the jerk she will cry on YOUR shoulder

Personally, I don't like the jerks.

But a lot of girls stay with these guys because they think that they'll change all of a sudden, but they never will.

I dont of course. I wouldnt wanna be with a jerk. She'll realize he's not good to her/for her eventually, and you'll still be there and she'll realize what a great person you are.

there will always be girls with no respect for themselves .. and who let boys treat them with no respect...... And there will always be girls that have an unhappy life at home and get messed up in their minds about boys because of that...Girls that pick the jerks because they can't help themselves...You need to pick a girl that likes herself and likes nice guys ..one who is normal and sane like you ....

AWW. To tell you the truth, I really don't know.  I've never been out with anyone like that before.  But maybe on the inside she just wants to get away from him but can't.  She probably things that tough guys are a way to get attention or something.

Girls like the idea of a guy cooler than them who likes to play hard to get. A guy who acts like a jerk may give off that impression.

Unfortunately, many girls don't know exactly what they want. When we get a little more mature, we realize that the idea of one kind of guy isn't as good as a real man who treats women with the respect that they deserve.

Don't change! You sound like a decent and kind guy. The girls are going to figure it out soon enough. Trust me. Stay friends with this girl, and when her jerk of a boyfriend stops working out for her, you will still be there.
