Do girls think hooters is a S****y job?

I work at hooters for a partmejob at night and find it pretty good the tips are awsome you meet some really nice guys but some girls say that you are a s**t if you work there and now i dont know if im a s**t or not and i dont want people to think that of me just because i work a hooters

You're not a s**t if you work at hooters if anyone says that then they are just jealous. A s**t is someone who sleeps around with a lot of men and personally I don't like that word because men do it all the time.

Unless you're sleeping with the male customers from the restaurant, you're probably not a s**t.  The comments probably stem from the fact that your job requires you to wear a skimpy outfit, showing off all your curves.  Some may think that any girl who is willing to do that is a s**t.  But, clothing does not define you.  You know what kind of person you are.  And, if working at Hooter's is a job that helps you pay the bills, so be it.

You are not a s**t if you do not sleep with men for money.  I'm a dude, and I go to hooters to enjoy the family restaurant.  The women are also attractive, added bonus, but not S****y.

At first I was a little uncomfortable going, especially with all the guys there with their tongues hanging out.  I like the food and the server's there are pretty nice.

People have to understand you are not stripping or sleeping with people there.  You are just trying to make a living whether it's a full time job or not.

If you enjoy it, and it doesn't bother you, then who cares what they think. And they don't like it, then they should not go there. I don't care for strip clubs so I don't go.  right?

For the record, no I don't think you are a s**t if you work there.

No Hooters girls are not S****y. There is cocktail waitresses in restaurants and bars that where alot less for tips and serve drinks and food. Look at Vegas cocktail waitresses and I don't think they are S****y either. They have to wear alot less! Hey a girls got to make a living, and lets admit it s*x sells!

what do you mean you don't know if you're a s**t or not? i mean i understand that you don't want people to think you are, but why would you not know? i'm sure you know yourself pretty well. just having a job somewhere won't make you a s**t.

i don't think girls think hooters is a S****y job. some might, but honestly who cares? i love hooters, and i want to work there myself. i already have two jobs, but i'm thinking about working there sometime soon. last time i applied a few months ago i had never been a server, and i could tell that worried them that i hadn't had experience. now i have my first serving job though, so next time i apply i hope they hire me.

i know some other girls that love hooters too...i know 3 that work there, and 1 that used to but just recently got fired. the only girls that think hooters girls are S****y are really uptight and judgemental. the only reason they don't like it, is because their boyfriends or husbands like to go there and they get jealous! so don't even worry about it. if you like your job, then just enjoy it for what it is and forget those stupid girls.

hooters is a good restaurant and the girls are very sweet and friendly. there is nothing wrong with working at hooters it's just a job.and  it's not just for men. i seen parents with kids,and old folks eating at hooters.it's a good place to  eat no matter what age you are. keep up the good work.

I've never considered those chicks to be s***s. If they're making good money in tips then they're actually pretty smart. If you got a nice figure, use it to your advantage. 'Cause you'll only really have it in your 20's.

sweetie, you are not a s**t unless you get paid for sleeping with people. i work at a diner that is known all over my town  as "eggs and legs" . we are where everyone goes BEFORE hooters opens.( i know this, because my customers tell me.) we provide a pleasant atmosphere for people-ALL PEOPLE- to come and eat. my regulars are men , women, kids, older people, you name it. if looking nice is a bonus, then cool, but mostly people go there for the fun, casual atmosphere .anyone who will judge you by where you work is messed up. as for putting it on a resume--great! a lot of people who will be reading your resume later will go, "hey, this girl knows how to handle stress, how to work hard, and how to put up with adversity!"  waitressing is a hard job at any time, ESPECIALLY  in a busy place, which we all know hooters to be. so keep on working there, and keep your head up!
