  1. no- they only correct your vision

  2. yes, that's why you get them, but if you are asking about them making you eyesight better without the glasses over time, i dont know

  3. They only improve clarity for a while. Artificial corrections(glasses, contacts, surgery) do not address the real issues of blurry vision, so eventually our vision gets worse. Nearsighted glasses(those that clear up vision in the distance) tend to suppress right brain function and make people more introverted, disconnected, and clumsy. They also squelch circulation in the eyes and head. People who get macular degeneration, retinal detachment, cataracts and other eye diseases, are mostly people who have been wearing high prescriptions for many years.

  4. no

  5. yes.

  6. Only while wearing them.  The vision returns to it's poor state when the glasses are removed.

  7. They don't improve your eye vision, They refract the light so that the rays of light coming off of an object land in the correct spot.  Depending on if the glasses are concave shaped lenses --> ) (

    or

    convex shaped lenses --> ( ).

    Depending on the shape of your eye.

    There are also glasses that have a mixture of the two but that is a story for another day.
