Question:

Do goldfish eat lemons?

Reason I ask is because at Petsmart I saw them drop in a lemon for the goldfish. Didn't know what to think of it

  1. uhhhh if they do it then its ok i guess ask them first. it could be a cure for sickiness. cuz if they do it im sure it wont kill them. its life if im dog seller and i give them poisen knowing they would die i would lose profite.


  2. i have never heard of that, but i know they do give them pieces of zucchini which is very good for them.

  4. You know what? Goldfish may eat everything because thet came from cold lakes of China where they have to eat something to suvive.

  5. It was probably an orange piece, not a lemon piece.  Sometimes they look like lemons in the water.

    Oranges contain Vitamin C, which is very important when helping strengthen your fish’s immunity to bacterial infection. Other supplemental forms of high Vitamin C can be achieved by feeding sliced grapefruit, oranges, watermelon and dark lettuces (not iceberg). I don't know about other types of fish but these foods are given to pond fish like koi and goldfish as part of there diet.

    Lemons might could be fed to the fish but oranges are just ideal.
