Do grasshoppers bite humans?

Untill now i have caught many grasshopers on my hand and i never get bitten by a single one of them! i think that humans actualy hates insects so much that they actualy think that insect like those are dangerous.I even have put my finger in a mouth of some grasshopers and the insect try to open its mouth but it didn't hurt me at all.This all is just a joke.They are realy nice insects,the only thing that actualy can harm is the crops.Because those kind of animals move in swarms if are many of them they can do great damage to the fields.The only think that you actualy must carefull in a grass hoper is the back legs,its the only defence in those creatures because they are spiked all over it! but even big grass hoppers canot do any serius damage even with those scary legs,its just for defense against smaller enemies like lizards and other kind of insects.Those insects that some people claims that were grass hoppers maybe was not grass hopper but some other insect.I am not an insect expert or something,but i know somes stuff because i wach them and admire them.
