Do guinea pigs live in Belize?

Im going their for 10 days to snorkle and climb the Mayan ruins and i wanted to know if they lived there that way i could get a picture of one to show my 3 guinea pigs. But I think they only live in Peru right?

Guinea pigs are a delicousy in Belize.  At any rate, I don't think they can see in 2d.

Guinea pigs are indeed native to south America (Peru, Bolivia) in countries around the Andes region, but they have spread as pets throughout the world.  

You won't find any in the wild in Belize, but you might find someone who has them as pets.

they live in many different parts of SA

we have them here in parts of bolivia and they taste pretty good
