Do guppies have a few babies, stop, then start again.?

my guppy had 9 babies, then stopped. She still looks like shes in labor.Is this normal? If so, how long will i have to wait for her to start again.

Yes, one of mine has hers two at a time,waits five minutes and then has two more. and another has 3 every day for about a week. this is very normal

yes..and they give birth every 3-4 weeks...vry busy fish..:P

They usually have them all fairly close together but they'll have a few at a time then rest and have a few more.  If they get stressed or disturbed they will stop having them altogether and reabsorb them.  It's best to just leave her alone until she is finished.
