I'm indian but been in america almost all my life. I was curious, do guys and girls date in india? If so is it open? Are the parents and society okay with it? where do you guys meet/date? what do you do?

How far do the couples go there? Do couples actually have s*x before marriage there?

Yes, of course.  Now in India, they are forgetting about their culture and is fastly adopting the western cultures.  Previously, there was pure love you can see, but now only flirtings and people are trying to find benefit from the relationships.  Everywhere you can see people are dating, but in Kerala, there is some limit to show, coz of the the family matters and still somebody has some respect to the culture.  

s*x before marriage was a sin at older days and still everybody is considering.  But the time has changed very fastly and surprisingly.  Now, everywhere people are having s*x before marriage.  This can be seen more in students and they are doing it profession to make money.

This question asked because you were been in US all your life.The culture of US and India entirely different. In india most (70% ) of people are not heard about dating and don't have s*x before marriage. we considering a boy and girl relation as pure love and the love with out dating and s*x is devine.

In US or western culture  if you think about s*x you can get with in your friends or someone around you but Indais most people are not.since when they meet partner after marriage they can enjoy s*x. Those people are have s*x and dated before marriage they can't be get that feeling and enjoyment. Because of this reason you can see in india there are less divorse cases.

Just thing if you are tasted all flavours before 30 years what is left after that, keep some thing after youe marriage so you can enjoy life at full. The real life of s*x start after marriage, its a bond between two s*x.

Why all of a sudden thoughts about dating in India when you have not been updating yourself with your country for so long? You call yourself Indian?!

It seems there has been any difficulty on the issue in growing kids in the family and suddenly roots are remembered.

Tell me what purpose it will serve now with you whether you get reply in yes or no. Perhaps someone wants justification for his/her actions on the issue by gaining some possible support from "own India and Indians"!

Just be practical.
