Do guys like it when you look at their shirts when you first see them?

Question

When I first see a guy for the first time during the day, I tend to look at what he's wearing. I first look at their eyes when they say hi then I look down to see their shirts. I do that a lot to see if a guy has a good sense of fashion or colors.

Do guys get annoyed of that? or is it ok if they noticed I'm looking at their clothes, I don't stare or anything, just a quick look.

girls do it all the time...its normal. thats why men should always wear presentable footwear...nice shoes are the kicker...just like poker.

I'm a guy, and I really don't appreciate your attempt to generalize 3 billion people into a single, lumpy category. Instead of looking at the close, read the body language.

If your not staring and just observing the way they dress then I don't see a problem with it.  I too take notice the way a guy is dressed.

It does not mean that what is actually on the outside as the inside.  But a clean cut person is what I prefer.  It is the first impression.  A good first impression is very important in general.

Regardless of whether they like it or not, it's probably not effective to try to win a guy's approval like this. A good relationship has nothing to do with clothes or anything like that.

Normally, if a girl breaks eye contact to look down, I assume that she is uncomfortable.  Honestly, the last thing that would occur to me is that she was checking out my clothes.

I've always tried not to check out a girl below the neck while having a conversation.  Most women will assume that you are looking at their chest, and I don't want them to view me as a person who is just interested in their body.  And...the clothes are usually the last thing on my mind.  I've never given much thought to what a girl is wearing, unless it's unusually revealing.
