I think it depends. Usually I'd expect people in warmer climates to do a little trimming in the nether-regions just so it doesn't feel so hot and uncomfortable. I'd expect people in colder climates to not really notice it as much.

Generally, I believe a little trimming is fine. It keeps you comfortable and it's more hygienic. It also stops the possibility of embarrassing exposure.

they shouldn't cut ALL they're pubes. Just a trim keep it natural. Be happy with a hairy crotch just not too hairy,

Yes, it's good hygiene and if you're going swimming it's a gross thing for a girl to see the top of your pubes so you might either want to wear boxers or shave the top a little.
